It was a dark and stormy (and SEXY) night!

Last night there was a MAJOR storm in my area. Trees were blowing over, lightning was constant in the sky like a blinding strobe-light, and thunder rolled through the madness but could barely be heard over the wild winds. Half-way through, a transformer blew in my neighbourhood and the entire sky was lit up with an freaky green glow and an odd buzzing sound that clashed with the thunder.

Then, black.

As the lightning continued to light up the room, all power was gone and looked like it would be out for while.

What to do? What to do?

With the storm raging outside, creating a surreal and highly intense atmosphere inside, one particular way to pass the time seemed…perfect ;)

I had just finished reading Samantha Hunter’s Mine Until Morning, where a storm features prominently and is one reason the two main characters come together. It’s an intense background for intense sexiness.

My question: Does a storm make you feel sexy? Some people are (understandably) afraid of them, but if you’re not, do you find the flashes of lightning electrifying? The rolls of thunder stimulating? The pouring, driving rain thrilling?

And what calms first…you or the storm? ;)
